The Saltworks Theatre Company performed the play, When Panic Attacks at Harrold School on Friday, April 4 which covered a variety of big issues facing teenagers today through a series of clever vignettes. The actors were both professional and compassionate and really hit the mark with topics such as anxiety, loneliness, the sting of social media, and peer pressure.
According to Dean of Students Mr. William Barch, “After speaking with multiple students, it was clear that each one connected with the play in a personal way. Whether it was a specific vignette or a broader theme, When Panic Attacks offered something meaningful to everyone who watched.”
English teacher, Mrs. Laurie Adams, agreed and said, “Our ninth grade students were engaged the entire time. The Q&A session after the play was so successful, that the actors could have stayed another hour answering questions.”
