Snow covered trees, the feeling of gliding along powdery snow, and hanging out in the lodge with your favorite people. Tis’ the season for skiing and snowboarding, and the season is at its peak.
“Seven Springs is the popular location for Hempfield students to go to,” says snowboarder Maria Rohrbacker. “Even with the long lift lines, it is always worth my time because my friends keep each other entertained.”
Seven Springs features seven terrain parks where you can find Hempfield students Maria Rohrbacher and Lina Reese. Lina is a fearless skier while Maria is a fierce snowboarder. Lina explains that she enjoys the park called “The Alley” “because it brings me excitement and it is always fun learning new tricks with my friends.”
Some people may be afraid of the cold and frigid weather, but Lina explains that “It gives me something to look forward to during Winter and after school. It works as a good motivator.”
