Think of this tour as an investment in your education. It’s undoubtedly a life-changing opportunity. Mrs. Daignault led a group of 14 Hempfield Area High School students on the EF Grand Tour of Italy this past June. They returned with full hearts and bellies and an enormous appreciation for new friendships, independence, history, art, beauty and culture.
This trip genuinely changed me for the better. I was able to see and experience a different culture for myself, and become close friends with classmates that I hadn’t really known as well before. It was truly the perfect end to my time in high school, and I am so grateful I was given this opportunity ” -Megan Slater, HAHS class of 2024
“First I would like to say thank you to the Daignault family. Mr. and Mrs. Daignault made the trip so enjoyable and comfortable! They were extremely kind and supportive throughout the whole trip! Second, if you’re questioning going to any country just do it! You won’t regret a single second of your trip! Italy was such an amazing experience. I could go on for hours about how much I loved every little thing! The trip we took to Italy not only made me open my eyes and realize there really is a whole world for me to explore, but it also made me realize that I can do so much more on my own then I ever realized! I’ll remember this trip for the rest of my life, I loved every moment!” -Sav Watkowski, HAHS Class of 2024
“The Italy trip with Mrs. Daignault is an experience I will remember forever. It helped me connect with my culture, and gave me the chance to make lifelong friendships with kids I never talked to before. I wouldn’t change it for the world :)” -Lucy Dellera, HAHS class of 2024
