On January 27th, the Hempfield Area Boys Basketball Team hosted their 11th annual Middle School Tournament. The games started at 8AM with the last games starting at 6:50PM. The Field House hosted over 600 people throughout the day to watch and cheer on their favorite players.
The tournament was composed of 27 local teams. All three courts were in use, with teams playing three games an hour, with a total of 42 games played. The tournament was a successful event as Coach Swan said, “This was one of the best tournaments we have ever hosted”.
