“Movember” Challenge Raises $1668

In honor of men’s health awareness month, Mr. Wentzel, with the help of United Spartans, had the idea to cut his hair as an incentive to raise money for movember. His overall goal was to raise $1,000; in the end,  we were able to surpass this goal with a grand total of $1,686.

Students raised almost $500 solely through ticket sales and the rest online. Students Marcus Smith and Nick Eberhardt helped tremendously through not only ticket sales but by also having the honors of cutting Mr. Wentzel’s hair themselves. Hempfield Area alumni Sydney Repasky also helped out by cleaning up his final look.

The final consensus is that Mr. Wentzel looks great, and he did it all for a wonderful cause.
