Let’s go back to the past when times were simpler and worries were less. It’s a day in late October, Halloween is close, and the excitement is brewing. It’s the elementary school Halloween parade, a day spent collecting treats and watching spooky movies. As the clock strikes 1:45, it’s your time to go and show off your costume to the teachers and community. Witches, superheroes, movie characters, princesses, and so many more costumes line the parade route. It’s your time to express the things you like and show it off to everyone.
Not only do all of the our elementary students take part in the festivities, but the preschool students here at the high school also have their share of fun. The Spartan Preschool run by Ms. Stas has a tradition that allows students to dress up and walk the high school hallways to trick or treat in classrooms and hallway stations. The children, high school students, and teachers thoroughly enjoy these moments.
Time flies and moments like these don’t last forever. It is fun to look back and remember the nostalgia of Halloween when we were one small.
