Since we were kindergarten students, perhaps even before, we’ve combed our hair and sat up straight with big smiles for school picture day. When it comes to being a senior, we have a lot of lasts this year, one being our final photo. Many seniors obtain professional photos for their memory books, hallway frames, and the yearbook, so many seniors let loose for their last school picture.
Kids wore silly glasses, Hawaiian shirts, hats, and superhero masks. They did this in efforts to make our last picture day a special, but funny one to look back upon.
One senior participating in the fun was Ryan Gilbert who said, “I saw kids from other schools doing this, and my friend group said that should do it since we’re seniors. It would make a fun, last picture day memory.”
This lighthearted attitude will hopefully carry though as a new tradition and a way to make one of our lasts fun.
