Maria Rohrbacher, born and raised in Greensburg, a senior at Hempfield Area High School is excited to end her High School journey as a journalist for the The Royal. After high school Maria hopes to further her education at Pitt for Physical Therapy. In her free time Maria loves to snowboard with her friends up at Seven Springs, and would love to take a trip to the slopes of Colorado one day.  She also is on the Hempfield lacrosse team; a sport she has been playing since her freshman year.  Her favorite thing to do in the summer is go to the beach, as she has been to many Caribbean islands. Not all travel is to the beaches, she has been to California mountains like Yosemite as well as LA and Hollywood, Arches, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in Utah.  Although vacation is fun for her she doesn't mind just staying home and hanging out with her friends, that includes, shopping, going to eat, and sitting out at her friends pool. She hopes to bring a fun perspective and new outlook to The Royal.
