Born in Durham, North Carolina, Clara Carmichael is currently a sophomore at Hempfield Area High School. Although born out of state, Clara has attended Hempfield since kindergarten, so this school has always had a special place in her heart. Since her early years in school, Clara has invariably aimed for excellent grades whilst pursuing her love and passion for writing. When Clara isn't focusing on her studies, she enjoys watching soccer games, hanging out with her friends, bowling, listening to music, and dog sitting. In the future, Clara wants to attend her dream school, the University of Pennsylvania, and eventually go to law school. For now, Clara hopes that she can be a great patron to The Royal, and give her fellow peers, at Hempfield, articles that they can appreciate!
