“Anything Goes”
The Big Reveal

In a build up only seen with Hollywood trailers, Mrs. Comm together with her musical staff including staples, Mrs. Katie Kertoy and Mr. David Emanuelson, led us on a road of guesses and much contemplation over the last few weeks. The question being asked by everyone was what will the musical production be?

Theater junkies trouped to the auditorium on Monday to figure out just how bell bottoms, juice, Snoopy, and Oliver Twist intertwined. With different possibilities floating through the students minds, each debuted hint in the Musical Google Classroom, code: JEFUJ65, brought them closer to a resolution.

Thrilling screeches of excitement and a few, “I knew it’s” left the mouths of the crowd when Kevin Chamberlin half sung, “Anything Goes,” on the big screen.

Kevin Chamberlin’s Cameo Reveal

The musical is a time for students of many talents to collide on stage. The crew brings the dynamic sets to life turning the auditorium from drab to fab. Meanwhile, actors encompass the vision of our captain, Mrs. Comm, match the pitch of an Emanuelson scale, tap away at an easy to love Kertoy dance number, embody a character in a de-lovely costume by Mrs. Tina Stewart, and feel the relief when Mr. Eli Gilbert’s face shows that he gets a kick out of you.

The musical allows students to come together as individuals and leave realizing that you’re the tops when on stage together.

This year’s auditions will be held on November 1, 4-5, 2024 with callbacks as needed November 7th-9th. No matter what role you play in #teammuscial, this year is sure to be a boatload of fun.
