Are you trying to get into the Halloween spirit this spooky season? Students and staff at Hempfield Area High School are working together to plan and set up this year’s upcoming Spooktacular! This after school event takes place at the high school on Monday, October 27th from 6-8 P.M.
The Spooktacular is a way for family and friends to enjoy themselves and have fun. Elementary and high school students enjoy dressing up in their costumes to trick or treat around the school. They also enjoy the many fun events offered!
To make things more enjoyable, Mrs. McCullough decided to bring back her haunted sensory house walk through experience full of twinkling lights, pool noodles, and other fun activities. This is just one of many activities being prepared by teachers and clubs. Other events include story hour, musical numbers, a Photo Booth, pumpkin decorating, crafts, games, and so much more!
This school event is a great way for students to get involved. Numerous clubs like Student Council, United Spartans, The National Honors Society, National English Honors Society, Mini-THON, and more all participate to make Spooktacular special.
Many students and staff consider this one of their favorite events of the year, so we hope to make this year’s Spooktacular just as memorable as the last!
